As a Commercial Director Alan brings a wealth of knowledge to the table with 40+ years in the industry and 6 years at Grove Construction. He has played a crucial role in delivering multiple large-scale development and conversion projects across various sectors.

Alan’s primary responsibilities include overseeing the financial position and performance, as well as reporting project profitability regardless of size. This involves managing budgets, controlling costs, identifying savings, and ensuring optimal outcomes for our client’s revenue streams while handling bids and tender packages for future projects.

Irina is responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the company, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls.

This role involves managing the finance team, ensuring accuracy in financial statements, and providing strategic financial insights to support business decisions.

Liz provides dedicated support to our CEO and Founder, James Corcoran, ensuring his schedule, communications, and priorities are managed seamlessly.

As Executive Assistant, she plays a vital role in keeping day-to-day operations organised and efficient, while also assisting with wider business activities. With her calm, professional approach and strong attention to detail, Liz is a trusted and valued member of the leadership support team.

Daisy provides dedicated support to our Managing Director, Sam Nicholson, managing his schedule, communications, and day-to-day priorities with efficiency and discretion.

Beyond her PA role, Daisy also assists across various areas of the business, her versatility and proactive approach makes her an integral part of the team.

Ish is a passionate and highly experienced Tier 1 and Tier 2 construction professional with 30 years of industry expertise across all sectors with a proven track record in successfully managing relationships from supply chains to client teams, fostering a collaborative and proactive environment to ensure project success.

Specialist in delivering construction expertise across all sectors, providing comprehensive support from pre-construction planning and programming through to the projects delivery.

Committed to meeting the unique needs of each and every project and client, with a strong focus on contracts, budgets, quality and programme.

Nick has recently joined Grove as a Senior Quantity Surveyor, bringing over 30 years of experience in the construction industry. Skilled in cost management, procurement, and project delivery, he has worked across a wide range of sectors and is known for his practical approach and attention to detail.

A trusted and highly experienced professional, Nick is already proving to be a valued member of the Grove team.

Ashley has extensive experience in handling commercial and contractual matters. He has been involved with and final accounted in excess of two hundred projects. Ashley’s experience includes New Build, Fit-Out and Refurbishment on Commercial, Retail, Residential, Industrial, Health, Pharmaceutical and Leisure services projects with values ranging between fifty thousand to one hundred and fifty million pounds. 

He is experienced with most forms of procurement, including Lump Sum Drawings / Specification, RIBA Stages, Management, Design and Build and Prime Cost, together with Tendering and Estimating. This wide range of experience has allowed familiarity with the operational aspects of many forms of contract, JCT; NEC, FIDIC etc. For the past 25+ years Ashley has also become involved with Dispute / Contract advice issues.

Devinder plays an important role in supporting our finance operations, assisting with invoice processing, expense tracking, and day-to-day account management. Known for her precision and reliability, she helps ensure our financial systems run efficiently and accurately.

Devinder’s organised approach and strong work ethic make her a trusted part of the team.

Kishan supports our finance team in an external capacity, assisting with day-to-day accounting tasks and ensuring our financial records are accurate and up to date.

His organised, detail-focused approach and smooth communication make him a reliable and valued part of our extended team.

Chris is the Project Manager for our Hove development, Preece House. With a hands-on approach and strong leadership skills, he oversees all aspects of the site’s delivery—ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, and to the highest standard.

Chris brings coordination, structure, and a problem-solving mindset to the team, keeping things moving smoothly from the ground up.

Patrick leads the delivery of our Abingdon project, The Old Maltings. As Project Manager, he oversees all on-site operations, coordinating teams, managing timelines, and ensuring high standards of quality and safety throughout the build.

With a proactive approach and a strong focus on detail, Patrick plays a key role in bringing this unique development to life—on time and to specification.

Recently promoted from Project Manager, Andy now leads our construction delivery across multiple sites. With extensive hands-on experience and a strong track record of managing complex builds, he brings a practical, solutions-focused approach to every project.

Andy oversees site teams, ensures quality and safety standards are met, and plays a key role in driving progress from groundworks to completion. His leadership, commitment, and deep understanding of the build process make him a vital part of our senior team.

We’re excited to welcome Derek Wright to the team as our new Site Manager for our Crawley project.

Derek started his career as an Assistant and, through hard work and determination, has worked his way up to becoming a trusted site manager with over 20 years of experience. He’s been involved in a wide range of construction projects and is known for his hands-on approach, problem-solving skills, and commitment to getting the job done safely and efficiently.

On-site, Derek keeps everything running smoothly, supporting the team and making sure the project meets the highest standards. We’re thrilled to have him on board and can’t wait to see the positive impact he’ll bring to Crawley.

With a hands-on approach and a strong focus on quality and coordination, he leads site teams, manages subcontractors, and keeps operations running smoothly.

Alex’s practical experience and attention to detail make him a key part of delivering successful builds from the ground up.

A young but enthusiastic individual, as a Sales and Marketing Assistant, Charlotte supports the team with everything, from managing client communication and developing content ideas to conducting market research, maintaining social media profiles and assisting in sales strategies.

She is extremely keen to learn more and loves being part of a team that’s passionate about what they do. She enjoys building her knowledge in sales and marketing whilst contributing to the company’s success, and with plenty of enthusiasm and a willingness to get stuck in, she aims to make a positive difference every day!

With a background in sales and customer service within the finance industry, Olivia has joined the Grove family as Sales Lead in our Sales and Marketing department. She’s already made a strong impact, introducing our first fully operational CRM system and leading the charge in integrating AI and other forward-thinking tools to enhance how we connect with clients.

Focused on generating leads and targeting projects that play to Grove’s strengths, Olivia is helping secure our place on key tender lists and open new opportunities for growth. She’s fitted in effortlessly with the team and with her energy and strategic mindset, the future of Grove’s business development is in very capable hands.
