Having delivered over 1000 units in the past five years alone, Grove Construction prides itself on its in-depth knowledge of permitted development projects.
We specialise in collaborating with developers to acquire land suitable for high-end residential properties, typically priced between £3m and £10m. We operate throughout London, the South East, the South West and the Home Counties, ensuring a consistent, joined-up service across these regions.
Once land is secured, we then assist in obtaining planning permissions that optimise asset value and deliver our clients’ dream homes. In addition, our Design and Build package coordinates the entire design and construction process, including planning permission, programme development, budgeting, schematic design, design development, contract document preparation, scheduling, construction and commissioning.
By providing this full turnkey solution, we make the process far easier for clients who often lack the time or expertise to deal with multiple points of contact. Moreover, we boast an excellent core team that truly complement one another, from Project Managers to Site Managers, Quantity Surveyors to Estimators, all tradespeople and all office staff, working together to deliver every project to the highest standards.

As a Commercial Director Alan brings a wealth of knowledge to the table with 40+ years in the industry and 6 years at Grove Construction. He has played a crucial role in delivering multiple large-scale development and conversion projects across various sectors.
Alan’s primary responsibilities include overseeing the financial position and performance, as well as reporting project profitability regardless of size. This involves managing budgets, controlling costs, identifying savings, and ensuring optimal outcomes for our client’s revenue streams while handling bids and tender packages for future projects.

Ashley has extensive experience in handling commercial and contractual matters. He has been involved with and final accounted in excess of two hundred projects. Ashley’s experience includes New Build, Fit-Out and Refurbishment on Commercial, Retail, Residential, Industrial, Health, Pharmaceutical and Leisure services projects with values ranging between fifty thousand to one hundred and fifty million pounds.
He is experienced with most forms of procurement, including Lump Sum Drawings / Specification, RIBA Stages, Management, Design and Build and Prime Cost, together with Tendering and Estimating. This wide range of experience has allowed familiarity with the operational aspects of many forms of contract, JCT; NEC, FIDIC etc. For the past 25+ years Ashley has also become involved with Dispute / Contract advice issues.

Derek started his career as an Assistant and, through hard work and determination, has worked his way up to becoming a trusted site manager with over 20 years of experience.
